Leadership is not simply about vision; it is about the systems, relationships, and daily practices that bring that vision to life.
My focus is on creating clarity, strengthening teaching, and building a culture where both children and staff can thrive.

Improving teaching quality
Improving teaching and learning sits at the centre of my work as a school leader. I prioritise regular classroom presence, clear feedback, and structured coaching so that teachers can continually refine their practice.
At Rugby School Thailand, this work contributed to the Teaching and Assessment team achieving COBIS Outstanding status. More recently, at St George’s College, I have focused on strengthening consistency across year groups through curriculum alignment and coaching.
Values-driven assemblies
Student leadership
Clear behaviour systems
Strong relationships
Strong schools are built on relationships. I prioritise creating warm, purposeful environments where children feel known, and teachers feel supported.
This includes visible leadership, values-driven assemblies, and consistent behaviour systems that reinforce both belonging and high expectations.
As I often say, belonging is not simply a feeling; it is an academic foundation for learning.

Induction and onboarding

Developing leadership capacity
Great schools grow through strong teachers. I invest heavily in staff development through coaching, classroom visits, and clear, actionable feedback that builds both confidence and expertise.
I also place strong emphasis on induction and onboarding. In international schools, where staff transition frequently, early support is critical. My research and experience show that thoughtful induction significantly improves both teacher success and retention.

Strengthening school identity
Strong schools are built on trust, clarity, and consistent communication with families. I prioritise professional, transparent relationships so that expectations are understood, and support for children is aligned between school and home.
Alongside this, I value meaningful partnerships beyond the school, using community connections to make learning purposeful and connected to the real world.
In my roles across Panama, Armenia, and Argentina, I have led school improvement and community engagement initiatives that strengthened both academic quality and family trust.
