Meet the four students at the heart of Nexa Ascend.

Curious • Energetic • Adventurous • Mischievous
Luna loves unusual ideas, new technology and anything that promises a little excitement. She's quick to explore, quick to joke and rarely stays completely still for long.
As Ethan's older sister, she's protective of him — although that doesn't stop them teasing, competing and occasionally arguing. Luna might seem confident, but even she sometimes worries about what other people think.
LOOK OUT FOR...
AeroBlades, flying challenges and any piece of technology Luna thinks looks interesting.
If it looks fast, unusual or slightly impossible, Luna probably wants to try it.

AGE: 9 SENTI: MILO
Thoughtful • Observant • Inventive • Quietly Brave
Ethan likes to understand how things work. He notices details, patterns and glitches that other people sometimes miss, especially when technology is involved.
He doesn’t always speak up straight away, especially when he isn’t sure he’s right. But Ethan is thoughtful, capable and more courageous than he sometimes gives himself credit for.
LOOK OUT FOR...
HoverCams, smart ideas and the moments when Ethan notices something everybody else has missed.
If there's a puzzle to solve, Ethan is probably already thinking about it.

Calm • Practical • Observant • Quietly Strong
Isla doesn’t need to be the loudest person in the room to make a difference. She notices what’s happening, thinks carefully and usually says something worth listening to.
She can hesitate when she isn’t completely sure of herself, especially under pressure. But Isla is reliable, honest and capable, the kind of person others can depend on when things get difficult.
LOOK OUT FOR...
Ripple, careful decisions and the moments when Isla decides it’s time to speak up.
She may be quiet, but when Isla has something to say, it usually matters.
ROWAN DRAY
ROWAN DRAY
AGE: 9 SENTI: BLAZE
Strategic • Observant • Calm • Guarded
Rowan watches before he speaks. He notices people, patterns and problems quickly, but rarely gives away everything he is thinking.
He is calm under pressure and often seems older than his years, especially when everyone else is reacting. Rowan can be difficult to get to know, but when something really matters, he is someone you want nearby.
LOOK OUT FOR...
Blaze, careful plans and the moments when Rowan decides it’s finally time to step in.
Rowan may not say much but he is usually thinking several moves ahead.

Bold, competitive and confident — Tess rarely waits for somebody else to go first.

A warm, encouraging older student who helps younger children feel supported.

Calm, serious and highly capable, Dan brings structure when things get complicated.

Chilled, observant and quietly funny. Otto rarely makes a fuss, but he notices far more than people expect.
AIKO TANAKA
Age: 15 · Senti: Drift
Calm, capable and highly respected. Aiko has high standards, but younger students know they can rely on her.
RAV VOSS
Age: 11 · Senti: Talon
Outspoken, protective and fiercely loyal. Rav would rather challenge something directly than stay quiet when it feels wrong.
SIV NYORI
Age: 11 · Senti: Naru
Calm, principled and deeply connected to Telyra’s resonance traditions. Siv doesn’t need to be loud to command attention.

Quiet, friendly and a little unusual. Mr H knows the grounds of Nexa Valley better than almost anyone and sometimes seems to notice things before the machines do.

Warm, enthusiastic and encouraging, Ms Thorne makes new students feel welcome, although even her mood boots occasionally give away more than she intends.
